The Rules
All of them. It takes about thirty seconds.
Last updated August 2026
The short version
Pay any amount from $5. Your name goes on the board. Whoever has paid the most in total holds The Belt. Somebody pays more, they take it. You receive nothing at any point.
Entering
- Minimum entry is $5 AUD. There's no maximum.
- You choose the name that appears on the board. Keep it clean — anything abusive gets removed without refund.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see your card details.
- You must be 18 or over.
Holding The Belt
- Your position is set by your total spend this season, not your single largest payment.
- Pay again at any time and it adds to your total.
- The person with the highest total is the champion. Ties go to whoever got there first.
- You'll be knocked off the moment someone's total passes yours. There's no warning and no grace period.
Seasons and resets
- The main board resets every two weeks. Everyone returns to zero.
- The Lifetime Wall never resets. It records total spend across every season, permanently.
- Season resets are announced on the site before they happen.
What you get
Nothing. There is no prize, no payout, no product, no service, no access, and no refund. You are paying to occupy a position on a public list, and that position can be taken from you at any moment.
If that sounds like a bad deal, it is. That's the entire joke.
Refunds
- Entries are final. Because nothing is delivered, there's nothing to return.
- If something genuinely goes wrong — a double charge, a technical fault — get in touch and we'll sort it.
The serious bit
- The Belt is entertainment. It is not an investment, a game of chance, or a competition with a prize pool.
- No money paid in is ever paid back out to participants.
- Don't spend money you'd miss. It's a five dollar joke, and it should stay one.
New to the format? Here's how these things work, or where the idea came from.
Think it's stupid?
So does everyone who's paid. The board is live right now.
